Bazza’s a real guy.

Born in England and raised in the highlands of Kenya, our tea master started out life as Barry W. Cooper—a young boy living a life of African safari adventure. Ever since, he’s been on an incredible journey that’s taken him to remote countries around the world. Fate, chance, or something else entirely has put Barry in the middle of exciting experiences and dangerous ventures that most people would simply never encounter.

Of course, sometimes Barry’s got a little something to do with the situation he finds himself in. It was on one particularly rowdy trip to Australia that he picked up the nickname “Bazza.” It’s hard to get the full story, as everyone’s been sworn to secrecy. But it was definitely an encounter that invoked his favorite mantra:  “I’d rather be lucky than good.”
